Thanks to all for your concern. It is incredibly smoky and dark. There was a fire less than 10 miles from us several days ago. Thankfully it was extinguished before it spread out of control. Unfortunately some structures and homes burned. I've been in many smoky campfires in my life but this is like nothing else. There was a young couple from Renton Wa that inherited property in North Central Wa, near Omak. They went to visit the property and got caught in the wildfire. They were found badly burned trying to escape along the Columbia river. Their 1 year old did not survive. I can't imagine...
