I am not an expert on the Model A, but I do know more than the average bear. I have owned three A's, and presently have a 1931 standard coupe and an unassembled 1931 standard roadster. However, I am ignorant of the designation: L head. DeAngelis uses this term and I have seen other references to it. Does the L refer to the arrangement of the cylinders, the shape of the block, etc? I have no clue and would appreciate someone educating me. Thank you in advance.
