She still doesn't know it's missing. It's a 24 mile round trip to the hardware store for a 5/8 dowel, so I just raided the crock full of spoons on the counter. She made me take my old BSA thumper out of the living room when we got married, but she redeemed herself with her welding skills. First girl in her high school to take welding in the mid seventies. 3 years and she's quite good!
