To me, it is just a matter of preference. Some like the "Antique" styling of the 28-29's and others like the more "Modern" styling of the '30-'31's. All are good cars. A lot of the changes thru the years dealt with cost of manufacturer and not really making the car better. All the years have a place in the hobby.
