I had the replacement ordered already, it looks like the one pictured and identical to the mangled one that came out, so it should be original. I wonder if the "two ball" type was the part in the kit I didn't recognize.

The problem is just that the threads in the carburetor were slightly damaged, so I need to run a tap or at least a hard bolt of the right size in there to clean it up so I don't damage the threads on the new seat.

The new part arrived so I'll just take the seat into Lowes and use the bolt sizer to figure out what I need.

Does that copper washer go under the bottom of the seat? Don't recall that coming out with the old one, I'll have to look again.
