I tend now to the valve chamber lid version. I am currently restoring the oil pump. A gear oil pump that turns without play can generate very high pressures. There are also filters with a particularly low backpressure. From a technical point of view, no nominal loss of oil flow is to be expected.

But if I understand correctly, the filter system fits only on the modernized cover plate and not on the 1928 version.
