Early 1930 Model A's had what we modern owners call "eyebrow" front fenders. There is a raised lip that runs around the front of the fender that was dropped in subsequent 1930 fenders. I believe these fenders were used from earliest 1930 model production (late 1929?) until about February, 1930, depending upon the assembly plant and supplies on hand. I don't have the "Judging Guidelines" in front of me, but I'm pretty sure by March the more familiar front fenders had replaced the eyebrow version.
