You're likely right.They had lot's of cars they bought, fixed up and sold but I only remember one 39. That was a great car and made quite an impression on me. It took awhile to get it going and by the time it was going I had my license. I recall chaufering my Uncle to a few "house parties" as he wouldn't dare drive after drinking. The car was sold and to this day I wonder where it went. By chance if any Barners who live in the TriCity area of Eastern Wa state remember: The car was owned by Bob Ennis. Bob owned a gas station in Kennewick. I believe it was a Texaco station. My Uncle was Laurel Shute. This would have been circa 1976.
