The horn gives back the truck's personality separating it from all of the anemic "beeps" out there.

Regarding the truck's grill shell, if it is truly black (hard to be sure in the photos given the aging of the paint elsewhere as well), it likely did not leave the assembly plant painted black unless the original buyer was a fleet as fleets had paint options available to them depending on the size of the fleet. In the case of your truck, that seems highly likely given that Washington blue was not a standard color offering for '32 commercial vehicles and big trucks.
