Default Re: Side 5 Lug Bolts

Ken Bolton...Ford used B-1107 studs with a .62 diameter on passenger and commercial rears in 1937 only. Ford also used stud 68-1107 with a .56 diameter from 1936 on into the mid-1940's on both front and rears during the wide-5 era of 36-39. It is very possible that you could have two different studs on a 37. 1936 additionally used rear stud part number 68-1118 which had a .50 diameter and is .12 shorter in length than 68-1107, so you could end up with two different studs on a 36 as well. Ford also used a different stud on the spare mounting flange. It would appear that there is no single "correct." Perhaps you could simply replace the studs rather than drilling?
