You pays your money and takes your chances with a 90 year old block that has been dipped in a tank and flushed or something after it has spent most of its life full of water. I'll be using a filter on my new Bergs. When the new Bergs gets blocked it will have flow problems anyway.
Anyone having flow problems with a Gano filter speak now...
