A few more observations from your latest set of engine compartment photos are: the hood lacing on the radiator shell is long gone which means that you metal to metal contact between the front of the hood and the radiator shell and your wiring looks to be something of a mess. You can obtain an excellent reproduction of the original engine compartment wiring harness from Rhode Island Wiring. They also offer the correct lighting/horn wiring harness as well should it require replacement for safety and dependability. (On second viewing, the lighting wiring is in bad shape. I also noticed that the cylinder head has been replaced somewhere along the way.)


IMO, those headlamps have to go, not just temporarily.
