Default Re: 1930-31 Hubcap tool

When I bought my A a little over a month ago I noticed that all the hub caps were pretty lose, to the point where they were rubbing off the paint on the wheel as they moved around. The only thing keeping them on is that the previous owner bent all ten tabs down. After a few failed attempts to tighten them by bending the tabs and installing the o-rings I bought from MAC's I finally ponied up and bought the "Hub Cap Tool".

And boy am I glad I did. I now have all five of the hub caps on my Sedan nice and tight, no rattles, nothing. I even fixed a couple of caps that had the tabs all bent up and were unusable.

Yes the tool is expensive but for my piece of mind and the cost saved in "possible" lost caps in the future it was worth it to me.
