Sorry to dust off this old post, but I have not had good luck using this tool on my reproduction hubcaps.

For those that have experienced great success, would you please share what hub-caps you used and from where? The tool cannot be used on original caps so we're all using repops.

My tabs are so thin, they are bending flat when I try to apply them to the rim.

Any help will be appreciated.
