Your 1/8" is probably to decrease compression, but could have been also used as a gasket? Copper gaskets used for racing are not that thick. Many of those heads have been milled to increase compression. Miller hi-speed probably has a gasket for you, or check with Sammy at AZ Model A,
[email protected], he has BEST gaskets that will likely fit a 4" bore. Don't be afraid of compression, and those heads need a lot of spark advance to run properly.
