OK, with the arms nearly horizonal, I heated the forward arm about 2 inches from the lift pin and bent it in such a manner that the lift pin was now about 1/2 higher than the aft pin. Note that when you now operate the mechanism the arms will be at the same height when up all the way. This kept the window from binding as it was being rolled up.
One other thing I found after the window frame was in place,...was that the forward felt channel was being compressed buy that forward filler block and the window frame, making the window hard to roll up. I then noticed the filler block was bent pushing itself too much on the felt channel. A little adjustment there fixed that.
