The 49 pumps had a unique isolation mount that was not available for many years and they used the wider belt drive set up more similar to trucks. The 50 & 51 cars used a Lincoln style biscuit isolation mount that is a bit easier to find since they were used in some trucks as well. The 50/51 pumps with the narrow belts and unique fan can allow an engine to be mounted a bit lower in the frame if the right spacers are used. It can also give a bit more radiator clearance but not by much.
