Just my opinion, but I believe you're approaching the eye to eye measurement backwards. Obviously, ROUGH measurements of E to E can be estimated by noting the position of factory holes in the frame rail with relation to the bracket in the picture. Using that criteria, I would then find an available spring of the correct width that comes close to the length estimated, and close to the RATE necessary to comfortably carry the weight of the rear of the car. THAT spring, along with axle center line would determine eye to eye dimension, as well as location of such on frame rail.
It surely looks like mounting the STOCK tank would require some thought. DD
