Default Re: Throttle valve rod and linkage on 1956 Thunderbird

It seems to shift very smoothly when I start out slow in town, but it shifts a little hard at higher RPMs. I figured I would try and resolve a few other issues before tackling that and just drive conservatively. I just happened to see that connection when looking at the engine and thought it didn't look right. I ordered the 7354 part in hopes it will sort it out. I'm also trying to sort out an overheating issue you probably saw on the forum.

I've got a message in to a radiator shop to see if they can help with that.
