I’m from California and bought a Model A from a chap in New York. There are no pink slips for cars of that vintage in NY. It had some type of Title and a registration. A good friend told me to go to our local AAA office, and ask for someone familiar with vintage cars. The man I met with was very helpful & much easier to work with than the DMV. After filling out a few forms & undergoing a brief inspection, I got a pink slip. I would highly recommend using the Auto Club.
