Default Re: 1935 fuel sending unit

The 1935 Ford did not have an electric fuel gauge, The electric sender unit pictured has been added to the tank along with an electric gauge in the dash. The original hydrostatic air gauge fuel sender unit can be seen in the left of your pic which also acts as a fuel pipe pick up and also as a tank vent.. The first electric fuel gauges came out in 1936 model year. The ground for the electric fuel sender is via the metal fuel tank to the chassis frame. Regards, Kevin.
