Default Re: Brazilian flathead with clear heads

Ziggster, I thought the same, but it's probably more to do with the "shutter speed" of the camera. I filmed my motor running with one head off and it looks different on film than in real life. I said at the time, "the camera can't keep up".

The ignition is a modern setup with coil packs and probably a crank sensor which may be on that piece bolted near the flywheel.
I have a megajolt setup here that uses that principle but I have never used it.

There also appears to be some sort of fuel injection setup, so maybe they have full electronic fuelling and ignition control (megasquirt?)

He also appeared to be hanging it off the bellhousing which is a definite no-no. It's not an old wives tale. Just don't do it.
