Looks like a really good project. According to someone who imports cars, you need the following to bring into US, providing car is over 25 yrs old:

1. Canadian title/registration
2. Bill of sale
3. Temporary U.S. transit permit or license plate
4. DOT form HS-7
5. EPA form 3520
6. Cash or credit card to pay import duty
