Default Re: Listing for items for sale

There is an ad on eBay right now like that - it didn't sell at $30 and now it is listed at $33, plus a tremendous shipping charge of $17.46 for a little part that would ship for $3 or $4 anywhere in the USA, except maybe Alaska and Hawaii. I have no idea how he came up with the crazy shipping price. The seller saw my wanted ad on Fordbarn about two months ago and offered the thumb screw to me for $30 with free shipping. I tried to counter with a little lower price with two emails, but he never even responded - nice. He then listed it on eBay a month or so ago at $30 with the huge shipping price and of course no sale. Now he has it listed at $33 with the way overpriced shipping. I ended up purchasing two thumb screws that look like NOS for $31 including shipping and I probably still paid a little too much. I suspect he will have the thumb screw for quite some time, between the high price and the high shipping charge.
