I thought wood spoke wheels were out by 1930??

you could add wire wheels in 1930 on Buick, at an additional cost.

In 1931, when the 8 cylinder first came out for Buick, I believe all Buicks had wire wheels.

So I guess Ford was ahead of the curve.
