I remember my dad telling if his uncle,with whom he lived near Charlotte working at the plant in the 20's, one of his first jobs was as a driver who hopped in the finished car at the end of the line where the wheels were lowered to the pavement which would start the engine and he would drive it to the parking area. I have two gold coins the uncle found on the sidewalk outside the plant.
