It's Portuguese do Brasil as they don't run the letters together when they speak (except in the Rio de Janeiro area) unlike the spoken Portuguese in Portugal. (I spent six years there in two three-year stints there, the first with Ford Brasil in the '70s and the second with the merged Ford/VW company, Autolatina, in the '90s.)
