1936 cabriolet front floor section
I’m restoring a 1936 Cabriolet and started to put the flooring in place.
I kept parts of the original floor and notice something interesting.
The original passenger side section that was in the car had remnants of
what looks like an additional piece of metal on top of the flooring that resembles
a battery cover in the same area a battery cover would go but on the passenger side. I know that the battery cover belongs on the drivers side section
And was wondering if this is part of the original flooring or maybe an add on from
the previous owner. Is anybody else familiar with this?
