I always advise a systematic approach. That is, firstly make certain ALL components of the front chassis are in GOOD condition. One must understand a little play "here" and a little play "there" adds up to a lot of play at the steering wheel.
Once you are certain all front chassis pieces are in GOOD condition, you can adjust the steering gear. If you need a step by step instruction as to how this is done, let me know.
