I noticed that the clamshells bolts go in “opposite of one another” and am wondering why and if it really matters. I also note that the support bracket bolts point up and now that it is installed, cannot insert from the bottom so going to point down. Does that matter?? Thanks

Originally the bolts were installed FROM the top. They utilized slotted head hex nuts and cotter pins. A total PITA to R&R once the car is assembled.
