IMHO, I think the 9” rear is a great start, as you have one ready to go! If your converting the rear convert the old three speed too. About the same level of work for both conversions & sounds like your a pretty hip mechanic. Also think I read u have a T5 around somewhere you could use. Now that combo will give you a very comfortable & fun to drive long distance cruiser!!!
