Default Re: It’s getting harder to drive my A

First, let me acknowledge I know have good genes, and no MAJOR injuries have marred me. I am 84 and had my annual today. Worked six hours with my 15 year old granddaughter yesterday tearing down old fence. Yes, I was tired last night. RPN was again amazed at my vitals, which are actually improved. And I lost ten unneeded pounds this year.

I can lift as much, do more than I could when I retired from the USN at 43, BUT I do it MUCH SLOWER and smarter. I insisted on quitting some of the medicines my previous doctor had given me and LESS is better. PRN agreed.

I eat less, and better. Do what you can as long as you can. As several before me have said. Don't let the old man in. OBTW, we took down 20 fence posts today, but sweet GD did most of the hard work. Yes, I'm tired tonight. Move when you can. Force yourself to do a little more and old friend told me. It works!
