Dave, my red wheels are a ford truck color. The best that I remember it is 1984 jalapeno red. This is a clear coat color but was mixed in a single stage acrylic enamel substitute formula. You may have to go with the base coat clear coat urethane formula because a lot of acrylic enamel substitute formulas are no longer available. Its sort of a dark red that doesn't stand out too much as in being gawdy , in my opinion . I was mostly looking for arora red but nobody had a formula and I decided to go with the jalapeno red.
