Default Re: JWL Book

I read my JWL book often, actually I re-read pieces over and over and over, ie the bit about milling stock heads and the performances improvements to a stock engine as verified (or not) on the dyno.

If you are buying books don't forget Ron Holleran's book and another one I like and re read his mild 59A build chapter over and over is by George McNicholl

I am just nearing completion on my first flathead build and all three of these books have been great. My machine/assembly work is being done at the same shop where all the standard machine work is done in the McNicholl book.
