This thread is of great interest to me. I installed T5 in my 32 with intention of using a stock 32 speedo. Have not driven it yet (taking forever) I figured I would address this exact issue when the time came.

Hey Tom ..... Your particular installation is of interest to me and another F'Barner that is about to mount a T5 in his '32 with a flathead. He is really reluctant to cut his center crossmember (if that is possible) to facilitate making this installation. I found pictures of a similar build that make it appear to be possible with about 1/8" to spare. If you don't mind, could you give us a brief run-down on how you mounted your T5 at the "K"-member?
