OldGold .....Like I alluded to previously, I had wondered for many years what the REAL answer was on the difference between these two commonly-seen brake drums usually found on '40 and '41 Fords. Well, I did some serious digging for answers this week and I believe I have found a conclusive answer. I have finally been given to understand (on credible authority) that BOTH of these drum designs were installed on the assembly lines, and that either drum type will be recognized as authentic on an EV8 Ford Club judging field.
