I've always believed what Mart says here to be factual, although the SMOOTHE drum
MAY be original from another supplier, or possibly an "across-the-counter" Ford replacement. If you look inside that smoothe drum on the flange, you will likely find the "01A-1115-A2" just like the fluted-drum flange has....just like Ford did it! If it has the "-A2", that signifies either an update from Ford, or a different supplier. Please let us know if there is a number forged into that flange. Definitely both '40/'41! DD
