Sorry I haven't kept up to date with this thread.
The chassis is complete sans the engine. That will be back from the machine shop next week. I'll have it together quickly thereafter.
Then, I'll install the engine, transmission & exhaust system. Once that's running the way I like it, the body will go on the frame. It (body) is already painted & buffed. I prefer to be 100% certain all mechanical features are operating properly prior to doing the body drop.
I have perhaps 99% of the remaining parts to complete this restoration restored and cataloged for installation when their respective time comes.
I still have to upholster the seat back rest cushions.
The doors, hood and trunk lid are 100% ready to be painted. The front fenders require a bit more blocking but are very close.
The rear fenders have the metal work completed.
All the body parts have been fit to the body already so once the finish work is done, it's straight to paint.
I must admit, I am quite eager to drop the body
