You put it on a little heavier than I do. I stop at three coats but it's probably due to the rivets that are on a lot of my projects. Paint likes to sag around rivets. I'm well acquainted with nib files and fine sand paper these days. My hand isn't as steady as it used to be. I may have to try some Chromabase single stage sometime. I have used the Imron Elite but it's not the same as the old stuff. The Imron AF400 is getting too expensive. It's all Axalta stuff now.

I also use the Sherwin Williams Acry Glo stuff sometimes. It depends on what the customer wants.

The old 40 is lookin good.
