Oh, ye of little faith.
Having spent many years driving and servicing my 1928 Chevrolet, I can assure you from much personal experience, that the Chevrolets (at least my 1928 Chevrolet) were very much the equal of the cheaper-built Fords. In fact the Chevrolets were so much better that the sales records of 1928 shows that the Chevy wollopped the Ford in number of cars sold!
O.K. guys, now you can 'vent'.
But I should tell you, there is nothing you can say that I have not heard before, or said myself. I am thoroughly familiar with all of the counter-arguments and have often used them myself. But I know this is a forum not only of information, but also a place to 'vent'. So howl away.
