Default Re: removing the pinion race, how

I have tool I made from an old, failed pinion gear that was on the end of a drive shaft. I cut the shaft down to about ten inches long. The pinion gear has the old bearing on it. In order to pull the race out of an otherwise empty banjo I insert the tool and attach my pinion puller to it and the pinion bearing will pull the race out.
