Default Re: Clutch Wear

went thru the same problem this spring. Had plenty of disc left but the fingers had become out of adjustment.

I purchased a new flywheel and diaphragm PP/ dual friction disc from Centerforce. The cost difference between having the old stuff rebuilt w/ the flywheel turned vs brand new is negligible.

Much better balanced, smoother engagement and a whole lot easier on tired old knees . AND [if] you don't tell anybody the purists will never know you went to a modern technology.
