Although not as defined or stylish as the more expensive alternatives, it is a respectable pattern and lettering. I considered the Euro brand and Blockley, but so far I'm satisfied with the Lucas blackwall and have driven about 400 miles in a few months of ownership. I was in the doghouse for about a week for replacing the older, cracked, and hazardous white walls when I purchsed the car for blackwalls, but when all cleaned up, it has grown on her.
