You are a lucky man.36's don't pop up all that often,especially like that one.
My '36 sat in my neighbors garage for over 20 years in pieces waiting to be street-rodded.I rescued it and went back to original(aside from the colors).
Fortunately, he didn't throw anything out so I had pretty much everything it needed to become a whole 36 again.
Have fun with your project and don't forget to let your friend take it for a spin.At one time, it was his dream too.
