Attached are photos of the gas tank and seat in the 40 Tonner. This setup will be the same as yours. The gas tank has two tits on the front side that fit into one of 3 holes in the seat bottom. Photos 2 and 3 show the seat bottom with the 3 holes on each side of the wood frame for seat adjustment. Photos 4 and 5 show the seat back which attaches to the seat bottom at two locations. Photo 6 shows an installed seat. Photo 7 shows two pieces of rubber that I put on top of the tank between the seat frame and the tank to isolate the tank from the wood. The original paint on the driver's side of the tank had rubbed off to bare metal on the high spots which left an area exposed metal with surface rust.
