What's the correct name for the metal covers located along side of the four cylinder engine in the 1932 Ford chassis? Our Deuce sedan has one on the right side but the one on the driver side is missing should there be one on this side also?

I always called them engine splash pans. Do your homework before you go shopping. I assume you have a copy of "The 1932 Ford Book" from the Early Ford V8 Club. There is an early drivers side pan without the cut out for the brake rod. There is also a different drivers side pan for the BB trucks with a larger depression to clear the larger truck steering. There are also different pans for the right hand drive cars.
