Default 1932 Ford 4 cylinder engine tins question

Looking to learn some more about the Deuce.
What's the correct name for the metal covers located along side of the four cylinder engine in the 1932 Ford chassis? Our Deuce sedan has one on the right side but the one on the driver side is missing should there be one on this side also?
