Wow, some of us are serious!
I subscribe to the "Thieves are Lazy" theory. There is no quick market for A's, on A chop shops, and I can't even imagine the coincidence that would have to occur for someone who knows how to start and drive the thing to be in the same place as me and want to steal the car.
That said, I have been keyed once, at a golf course. Still burns me up. A huge four foot scratch right down to the primer.
