My father built the dump box. It has a Gar-Wood lift mechanism consisting of two curved, cast rails attached to the bed and two rollers attached to a tee off of the cylinder which pushed the bed up as it rolled up two tracks and engaged the curved pieces. (Hard to explain). The running gear was originally in my grandfather's heavy equipment transport set-up. I never ever used all of the gears and speeds available for farm work.
