I have seen the new shoes and they really look good. I would suggest the new ones with WOVEN linings. The woven linings make a big difference in how your Model A will stop. The molded linings are much harder and your car will not stop nearly as well.
The problem with original used brake shoes is most are either very badly rusted or the holes are all worn out. I usually have to go thru 20-30 used shoes to find 8 that are usable.
